Paper Submission
ODF'10 Special Issue of OPTICAL REVIEW
The special issue of OPTICAL REVIEW, which is the journal of the Optical Society of Japan, will be published in January 2011 for ODF’10. Every authors of ODF’10 are strongly encouraged to submit the original papers to the special issue. The deadline for submission is May 31, 2010. Please note that all the submitted papers will be judged following the editorial policy of OPTICAL REVIEW. Also note the authors who join and speech (including Poster session) at ODF’10 can be posted. Even submit papers to OPTICAL REVIEW, the paper will be rejected if authors did not speech their paper at ODF’10. The submissions from invited speakers are also welcome.

POST-DEADLINE PAPERS
A limited number of post-deadline papers will be accepted for presentation in a poster session. Latest and significant results obtained after the regular deadline are most welcome. Please e-mail your 35-word Abstract & 2-page Manuscript to the secretariat for ODF'10(odf10@pac.ne.jp). For the layout of manuscript, please see the Guidelines on the ODF'10 Home Page .
The deadline for submission of post-deadline papers is on February 26, 2010.
Review result will be noticed by March 31, 2010.
As well as the regular submission, the copyright of the article published in the ODF'10 Technical Digest is to be transferred to the Optical Society of Japan (OSJ). The authors are required to agree to the copyright transfer when the 35-word abstract and the 2-page manuscripts are submitted.
PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS AND MANUSCRIPTS
A limited number of original papers will be accepted for presentation. Authors are required to submit a 35-word abstract and a 2-page manuscript. Papers must be submitted online. Please see the ODF'10 website for details of the submission procedure. Authors are required to agree to copyright transfer by including a completed form when submitting abstracts and manuscripts. The form can be downloaded from the conference website.
*35-word Abstract
Abstracts should be up to 35 words in an ASCII text file. Please avoid the use of scientific and engineering symbols in the abstract. Abstracts that are longer than 35 words will be shortened by the program committee. If your paper is accepted, the abstract will appear in the Advance Program.
*2-page Manuscripts
2-page camera-ready manuscripts including text, figures, tables and references must be typed single-spaced on A4 or letter size pages with the title followed by the author’s name, affiliation, and address. Accepted papers will be published in the Technical Digest of the conference. For the layout of the manuscript, please see the Guidelines on the ODF10 website (to be opened this May).

*Abstract & Manuscripts will be accepted

The presentation schedule will be determined after the program committee has reviewed the papers. Authors will be notified by January 2010 whether their papers have been accepted. Notification will be sent to the author listed first by e-mail or letter. Note that it will be the author's responsibility to obtain any necessary and appropriate clearances from his/her affiliated organization.
*Copyright Transfer Agreement
The copyright of the article published in the ODF’10 Technical Digest is to be transferred to the Optical Society of Japan (OSJ). The authors are required to agree to the copyright transfer in the online submission procedure at the same time as the 35-word abstract and the 2-page manuscripts are submitted.
